Art Contest Guidelines:

Book ‘Em will only consider original illustrations drawn by students between the grades of 1st and 12th.  Entries must be an original 2 dimensional drawing, using pencil, pen, markers, crayons or any other drawing tool.  The drawing must be of a character or a scene from a book the child/young adult has read.  No drawings from the book may be copied.  Your grade for school year 2007/2008 will determine which category you are in.  Attach the entry form to your story, but DO NOT put your name on your drawing.  Only identify yourself on the entry form.  All illustrations will be coded and the entry forms removed so the entrants can not be identified by the judges.  The grade categories are:

Grades 1-2

Grades 3-4

Grades 5-6

Grades 7-8

Grades 9-10

Grades 11-12

We will honor one winner from each category at Book ‘Em on Saturday, October 20, 2007.  There will also be prizes for each winner.

This is a FREE contest. There is no limit to the number of submissions.
