Robert Gilstrap

Bob Gilstrap is a writer who
has written or co-authored ten books for children, parents
and teachers. His most recent book,
We're
Going to Hollywood!, a historic
fiction novel for young adults, was inspired by a family
history project in which he learned that his father and
father-in-law were both involved in the early movie business
and is set in the summer of 1920. A story from his first
book for children,
a collection of North African tales,
was selected for the Junior Great Books (series 4). A
professional educator, Bob began his teaching career as a
fourth grade teacher in Texas and retired from George Mason
University in 1997 after working for 33 years in teacher
education. He lives with his wife, Dorothy, at Lake
Monticello. They have been blessed with four children and
five grandchildren. |

Chris Graham

from Virginia |
Chris Graham is a 12-year
veteran of print and Web media, radio and television.
He has covered two presidents - Bill Clinton and George W.
Bush - in addition to conducting numerous one-on-one
interviews with former Virginia governors George Allen, Jim
Gilmore and Mark Warner, current governor Tim Kaine and a
host of other newsmakers in Richmond and on Capitol Hill.
Chris is the owner and editor of
The New Dominion and the host of two
weekly Internet podcasts produced by Augusta Free Press
Publishing - "The New Dominion Show" and "The Augusta Free
Press Show."
He has as well published two books,
Stop the Presses,
a humor column collection, and
Judge Not,
a political thriller. He also co-authored with Patrick Hite
Mad About U: Four
Decades of Basketball at University Hall.
Coming in 2007,
Ridin' The
Pine, a short
story collection by Graham.
In addition, Chris is the co-host and associate producer
of the "ACC Nation" radio show/podcast. He also contributes
articles and opinion pieces regularly to accnation.com.
He has won 10 Virginia Press Association awards for his
reporting and writing.

Crystal Graham

Crystal Graham is an eight-year
veteran of the news industry in Central Virginia and the
Shenandoah Valley.She is the owner and publisher of
The New Dominion,
a quarterly magazine based in Waynesboro, and The Augusta
Free Press, a website covering news in the Shenandoah
Valley.
Until November 2004, she served as co-host and assistant
producer of "Virginia Tonight," a live news and public
affairs program that aired every weeknight. Although the
show was cancelled, a program that aired in 2004 on "The
Passion of the Christ" was named a finalist for the national
Telly Awards competition in March 2005.
In addition to television, Crystal also has an extensive
background in print newspapers, having served as managing
editor of The Shenandoah Valley Observer and The
Charlottesville-Albemarle Observer. She began her career
working as the lifestyles editor at The News Virginian
in Waynesboro.
Crystal has won six Virginia Press Association awards for
her design and writing work.

Caleb Grimes
lives and writes in Staunton, VA after having moved from
Northern Virginia 2 years ago. The Star Wars movies have always
been inspiring to him and so he wrote a book about all those
spiritual and practical truths that show up in the movies that
relate to life outside the Star Wars universe. He is currently
writing a novel. His wife, Leslie, is an abstract painter and
his son, Sam, likes to play Star Wars.

Anita Hackley-Lambert is the former
President/CEO of a fifteen years old information
technology and engineering services firm and currently
founder of Hackley-Lambert Enterprises, Inc., an
emerging portfolio of business opportunities, including
HLE Publishing from which she has launched her new
writing career.
Anita
Hackley-Lambert has envisioned a career in writing ever
since the age of twelve, when she wrote her first
unpublished book, No Where
to Run, a compelling story of sexual
assaults she suffered beginning at age five. She was
inspired to write the life story of
F.H.M. Murray,
because of a promise she made to her mother to
acknowledge and honor Murray’s legacy. With publication

institutions, black history collectors, genealogists,
students, and family members of this outstanding
historical figure. Her greatest desire is that each
reader will come to know the essence of the man,
F.H.M. Murray.

Evelyn Hinds is an actress and speaker. She is
the founder of Arts Touching Hearts, Inc., a non profit organization
committed to expressing the message of God through the Arts. Evelyn
is also a spokesperson for the Corrie ten Boom House and Museum. She
has performed across the nation as well as internationally. For more
than twenty years she has studied the life of Corrie ten Boom
through her books, tapes and interviews with people who knew Corrie.

John M. Holmes, has been studying American History for more
than three decades. His special interest in the founding
fathers and Thomas Jefferson is made manifest in his book,

A retired banker and educator, he presents lectures on
Jefferson's health and treatments and colonial medicine to
diverse audiences. He and his wife Catherine reside in the
Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

is a nominee for the 2007 Library of Virginia Fiction award.
Sarah Honenberger is the 2005 Winner of the Virginia Writers
Club statewide Fiction award and a recipient of a fellowship
at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Honenberger
writes two monthly features for OC Magazine in Orange
County, VA.
Her short stories, and one
novel excerpt, have won numerous first place awards and
have been printed in literary journals for ten years.

Ipson

Jay Ipson is a Holocaust survivor. He is 72 years of age and is
one of the youngest Holocaust survivors in the area. He will be
giving a talk at Book 'Em about his experiences.
Mr. Ipson is the Director of the Virginia Holocaust Museum in
Richmond, Virginia.

Andrea Jackson
began writing while in high school but didn’t pursue it
seriously until she won a writing contest in Writer’s Digest.
After several years of learning, rejection and a few additional
contest wins, her career was launched by the publication of the
romantic suspense, Bodyguard,
which placed in the 2002 Heart and Soul Aspiring Writer’s
Contest.
Andrea loves
being immersed in the imaginary worlds of relationships, love,
intrigue and adventure. She hopes to share these experiences
through her writing and bring enjoyment to as many readers as

Denise Jeffries

Denise Jeffries has been writing since 1993. having journaled
life events since she was a child, on the prompting of a friend
she decided to put those thoughts and dreams into books. She
has two single titles, four anthologies and four published short
stores to her fiction writing credits plus numerous nonfiction
articles and essays. She is know for bringing the characters
alive in her stories while adding a touch of wit, mystery and
suspense. Denise, a Registered Nurse, resides with husband,
Leon in Newport News, Virginia. When she is not writing,
thinking about writing or providing workshops on writing, she
works as an Assistant manager of a cardiac unit. She loves
traveling, reading and killing off people in her books and she
does each one with flare and pizzazz.

Bob Johnson

Bob Johnson is the Pastor of the Blue Ridge
Chapel Church of the Brethren located north of Waynesboro,
Virginia on Route 340. Chaplain Bob is a Master Chaplain with
the International Conference of Police Chaplains (ICPC), where
he currently serves as a Disaster response team member and holds
life membership. He also serves as the Mid East Regional
Director for the organization, providing administrative
leadership for chaplains in seven states and the DC area.
Chaplain Bob served two tours of duty at
the WTC disaster in New York and was compelled to write about
his experiences. He recently served as the point man for the
ICPC in Gulfport Mississippi, in the aftermath of Katrina,
serving the police departments of Gulfport, Long Beach, and Pass
Christian.
Chaplain Bob has just finished the National
Incident Management Training from FEMA as part of the Homeland
Security disaster response team and is also a member of the Blue
Ridge Critical Incident Stress Team. In addition to his service
in law enforcement chaplaincy, he also serves as a volunteer
Chaplain at Augusta Medical Center, where he is also a member of
the chaplain’s supervisory committee.
Bob has served as a Chaplain for the
Staunton-Augusta Rescue Squad, the Staunton Police Department
and is now serving as Chaplain for the Waynesboro Police
Department. He is a former FBI Chaplain having served in
Washington DC. He is a life Member of the Staunton-Augusta
Rescue Squad and served as a Sergeant of a patrol unit with the
Staunton Police Reserves.
He has written a training seminar called
the Ministry of Presence: One-on-One
and is presently developing a training book on this program.
Bob has presented this seminar at the International Annual
Training Conference of the ICPC and at regional training
seminars as well. He has spoken at the Virginia Occupational
Safety and Health annual conference on his experience at the WTC
disaster and has shared his story with many local civic
organizations as well.

Eddie Jones

Eddie won first place at this year's Delaware Christian Writer's
Conference for his book proposal,
Bahama Breeze. Winning the award was timely,
since Eddie was camping in a state park and when he returned
from the award ceremony he discovered his tent had collapsed in
the rain. Eddie used part of the $1000 winnings to check
into a Howard Johnson motel. Eddie is a
