Into Flame the Gift - Getting third degree burns in first person

story we must reach into the fire ourselves, stoking our own fears,
frustrations, and failures, so that the hearts of others might be warmed. We
get burned in the process but as writers we are called to entertain and
motivate our readers, not sedate them. Come learn how to fan the flame of
writing. |

Stress, Anger and Suicide: Learning to Relax

Reading can benefit officers in a couple of ways. (1) They can read books

 |
1:00 pm |
Classroom # 2 |
Special Focus: Literacy and Street
Fiction
Speaker: B.L.U.N.T.
Description: A
discovery has been made. The genre of street fiction can actually have a
positive effect with regards to the literacy rate amongst our youth. During
the promotion of B.L.U.N.T.'s novel, Betrayal Of A Hustler,
she encountered scores of teenagers. The majority claimed they simply had no
interest in reading if it was not required, outside of schoolwork. This
peaked her concern. Street fiction, although graphic, does portray reality
of inner-city life. That reality is what many of the youth today want to
know about. The glossy illustrated covers pull them in. However, the
messages and moral lessons they get in between the lines are invaluable. |
