Russell G. Waldrop

As a Southern Baptist
minister, Russell G. Waldrop is also a pastoral counselor and
a licensed professional counselor with a doctorate in counseling.
His books reflect an integration of religious faith and issues
of daily living. One is a collection of his weekly newspaper
columns for the Waynesboro
News-Virginian. Two
are translations of Biblical books from the original Greek into
English (Titus
and Galatians). One
is a spiritual introduction to stepfamilies (Not by Flesh and Blood). Another is about faith and personal
disabilities (Jesus
and Persons with Disabilities).
He is also the chaplain of Western State Hospital in Staunton,
VA. |
Robert W. Walker

Robert W. Walker has written
and published a book a year, and sometimes two and three in a
calendar year, and is now working on his 42nd novel with his
8th series character. His most popular series has been the Instinct Series and the Edge Series.
With no signs of slowing, having written three novels in the
last 18 months, Robert is currently awaiting publication of a
new series entitled City
for Ransom, set in
1893 Chicago--a Conan Doyle\Dickensian romp through the past
with a serial killer and as backdrop the Chicago World's Fair.
He is also completing work on Cuba Blue,
a modern day suspense series set in Havana, Santiago, and all
of Cuba with a female lead who promises to be far more than Instinct's Jessica Coran transplanted in Cuba.
He also teaches at Mountain State College in Beckley, West Virginia.

Kit Wilson

Kit Wilson was born in the foothills
of the Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains. At the early age of eleven
she began writing poetry. Her poem Every Drop of the Rain was published in 2003 on poetry.com
and in the book Patterns
of Life. Although
her genre is poetry, she has authored a childrens story
and a true story.
As the owner of Blue Ridge Foothills
Books On-line Bookstore and Small Press Publisher, she houses
her books as well as those of other authors.
Kit is a member of NABE, The
Virginia Writers Club, and The Binding Time Book Club. She will
be participating August 6, 2005 in Read Martinsville reading
her childrens story, The Blue Penguin, giving poetry readings, and lecturing
on What are E-books?

Alice
Wood

Alice Wood lives in Waynesboro, Virginia. For
many years, she was manager of General Electrics technical
publications department and taught writing courses for their
engineers. She also worked with the Institution of Electrical
Engineers on programs for their members. After retiring, Alice
researched area white and black families and described them in
articles for the local newspaper. She represents Waynesboro on
the advisory committee of the Virginia Department of Historic
Resources, Winchester District. She loves to read biographies
on the founding fathers, is an avid Lewis and Clark fan, and
loves mysteries. Alice has two daughters, a son, their spouses,
six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. |

Nancy Means Wright is the author

Darlene Zagata is a freelance
writer and author. Her work has appeared in numerous electronic
and print publications. Ms. Zagata is the New Age Editor at RITRO.com and
a monthly columnist for Moon Shadows Magazine.
Her two books, Aftertaste: A Collection
of Poems and The Choosing were spawned by the untimely and tragic
death of her husband. She is currently working on other book
projects. Although much of her time is spent crafting the written
